Dear Distinguished Guests, Esteemed Scholars, and Industry Leaders
On behalf of the Global Academy of Tourism and Hospitality Education (GATE) College, Nepal, it is mygreat honor to welcome you to the 4th HOT & Food Conference.
Nepal, a land of themajestic Himalayas, rich cultural heritage, and warm hospitality, has long been a revered destination for travelers worldwide. It is a place for tourism and hospitality and a spiritual haven where meditation is practiced as a form of healing, rooted in the teachings of Gautam Buddha, and where the ancient art of yoga has been cultivated for centuries. These unique attributes make Nepal an emerging destination for health-oriented tourism and hospitality.
This conference serves as a pivotal platform to engage in meaningful dialogues, exchange ideas, and explore innovative practices that will advance our understanding of this growing field. We believe that the discussions and collaborations during this event will lead to a sound conclusion, theoretically and practically contributing to the development of health-oriented tourism and hospitality.
We firmly believe it will also serve as a cornerstone for South Asia’s progress in this field. GATE looks forward to fostering research and projects that will not only benefit academia and industry but also have a lasting impact on the well-being of societies across the globe.
Let us join hands in this remarkable endeavor to shape the future of health-oriented tourism and hospitality. May this conference inspire transformative ideas, meaningful partnerships, and a shared vision for a healthier and more sustainable world. Thank you, and I wish you a fruitful and enriching conference experience.
